The Conference on Postsecondary Learning and Teaching offers an opportunity for academic staff, students, academic librarians and staff at the University of Calgary and the wider academic community to share, critically examine and build on our collective knowledge of teaching and learning.

To earn this badge, the presenter must submit a conference proposal which is accepted based on the following selection criteria:
  • The overall proposal is strong; the topic is relevant, significant and would be of interest to the teaching and learning community.
  • The topic is applicable to a broad audience from a wide variety of disciplines.
  • The proposal situates the topic within the scholarly literature (max. five references).
  • The abstract provides a rationale for the selected topic and demonstrates how it relates to the conference theme.
  • The proposal states clear session outcomes.
  • The abstract includes an outline of what delegates will experience and observe in the session. For workshops and interactive sessions, the abstract specifies how participants will actively contribute to the session.
The presenter must have presented a workshop, interactive session, ignite session or poster at the Conference on Postsecondary Learning and Teaching, University of Calgary.
Presenters may do a remote presentation through videoconferencing or an online presentation tool. Participants do not have to attend the conference to do a poster presentation if they use another means to elaborate on their poster, such as a recorded video.
The presenter submitted conference proceedings to PRISM (formerly D-space) by June 12, 2017, 11:59 MST. Information on how to submit to PRISM will be posted shortly and also emailed to all conference presenters.
