3D Printing Workshop
This workshop is designed to expose the university community to the application of 3D printing technology. It will feature a hands-on learning approach, which ensures that trainees are able to operate the self-serve 3D printer available at the Taylor Family Digital library.
Participants will be able to use the 3D printer in the 3rd floor TFDL MakerSpace in conjunction with its software to produce 3D printed objects.
A self-assessment will be provided to certify that participants have shown that they can go through the 3D printing process from start to finish. Explanation of the steps involved, as well as being able to identify component parts of the 3D printer and its accessories will be requirements necessary to ensure that participants are confident with using the printer on their own.
